Cookie policy
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. This shop also uses local storage, which stays in the browser and is not sent with every request. The list below is only what Alphabet Frame Shop actually uses. We do not load Google Analytics, a Meta pixel, or other advertising trackers.
You can change your mind any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer, or with the button here. Rejecting optional storage does not stop you buying a template.
Strictly necessary
These stay on because the shop needs them to sell a digital download. The banner cannot switch them off.
- afs-cart (local storage, first-party). Remembers the templates in your cart and a discount code, if you typed one. It stays until you remove those templates, finish paying, or clear the browser. No set expiry.
- afs-consent (local storage, first-party). Remembers whether you allowed the optional visit count, so the banner does not return on every page. It stays until you change the choice or clear the browser.
- afs_studio (cookie, first-party, HTTP only). Set only after the shop owner enters the studio passphrase. It is not set for buyers. It lasts 14 days and is used only to keep that private page signed in.
Optional
This stays off until you choose Accept all, or turn it on in Cookie settings. Reject non-essential leaves it off.
- afs-visitor (local storage, first-party). A random id created in your browser. With your consent, the shop sends that id, the day, the page address, and the country of the connection so we can count visits. A session id stays in session storage until you close the tab, so pages from the same visit can be grouped. It is not an advertising profile. If you reject optional storage, this id is not created, and an existing one is removed.
PayPal
PayPal is the payment service. The shop loads PayPal’s script from www.paypal.com only on the checkout page, and only after you have entered a name, a valid email, and agreed to the terms. That script is required to take the payment. We do not load it on the rest of the site, and we do not add PayPal advertising tags.
While you pay, PayPal may store information on its own domain. This shop does not choose those cookies and does not list cookie names we have not set ourselves. Rejecting the optional visit count does not block PayPal. Card details stay on PayPal.
Videos you choose to play
Guide pages do not load YouTube until you press play. The player then comes from youtube-nocookie.com, and YouTube may set its own cookies at that moment. On a template page, the tutorial video stays unloaded until you press Video. It then comes from Google Drive. Pressing play is the choice to load that video. It is separate from the visit-count choice.
What we do not use
No advertising network, no Meta pixel, and no analytics product beyond the optional visit count above. Share buttons are ordinary links. They do not run until you open them. Product photos are requested from Google so the picture can be shown. That is an image request, not a cookie this shop sets.
Read the privacy page for the name, email, and order data, which are not cookies. This page is a description of the shop as built. It is not a certification, and a privacy professional should review it for your own sales.
